National phase

All contestants will receive a diploma to show that they have participated in the Odysseus II contest.

The top contestants at national level will receive a winners medallion and their projects will be displayed in full in the Hall of Fame area of the Odysseus II Contest website.  The top contestants will continue to the regional semi-finals, where they will participate in a number of space-related activities, events and trips in one of the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Greece, Italy, Poland, Spain, UK.

Regional phase

The contestants that contributed to the winning projects in the regional semi-finals will receive as prize a high quality computerized telescope (Celestron Nexstar or similar type) and they continue to the International final where they will participate in a trip to Toulouse, France.

Final phase

The contestants contributing to the winning project at the International final will win a trip to the Guiana Space Centre, where they will participate in space related activities and guided tours and they will receive a ‘European Youth Space Ambassador’ diploma, presented at the final.

Additional Prize: An internships to ESA or to a European aero-space industry. Internships could be from three to six months and the students will be granted with their travel expenses, health insurance and a monthly allowance covering their subsistence costs.

A cash equivalent cannot be substituted for the prizes.
